Kotobukiya's ARTFX J line reunites the series' iconic trainer-and-partner duo in a nostalgic mid-stride pose, with Pikachu perched on Ash's shoulder. The sculpt emphasizes accurate proportions and screen-faithful costume detailing rather than the chibi styling common in prize figures, making it a favorite centerpiece for long-time Pokemon collectors. Official runs are periodically reissued, but early-print boxes with the original Pokemon Company hologram command a premium among completionist collectors.
Genuine Kotobukiya ARTFX J releases carry The Pokemon Company joint-license hologram on the box bottom, Pikachu's fur is airbrushed with fine directional gradient (not flat yellow), and the Kotobukiya logo is embossed on the base rim.
